o      Writing multiple, informative paragraphs that group important facts to support the main idea using one or more resources (organization, ideas & dev.)
o  Using a variety of verbs, vivid adjectives, and precise language to describe some facts and details (word choice)
o  Applying spelling, capitalization, and punctuation principles that have been taught, with some inaccuracies that do not hinder meaning (conventions)
o  Demonstrating sufficient use of the writing process as evidenced in the piece
